<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Damit die Zwiebeln einen noch besseren Geschmack bekommen, kann man sie vor dem Marinieren noch in einem Topf mit Wasser bräunen. <p class="wp-block-paragraph">Diese Baked Beans sind eins meiner Lieblingsmahlzeiten. Man muss dafür auch nicht lange daran kochen. Einfach und schnell zubereitet lässt man sie einfach 50 Minuten im Backofen und kann sie anschließend genießen. Der weiche, vollwertige Toast ist einfach perfekt. Nehmt einen Löffel und legt immer ein paar der Baked Beans auf Brot und esst sie dann genau so. Ich freue mich jedes Mal, wenn man sie schon vom Ofen aus riechen kann.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Baked Beans mit Toast</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Meistens esse ich diese Baked Beans als Abendsessen, aber so wie so ziemlich alle meine Rezepte, eignen sie sich auch super als Frühstück oder Mittagessen. Man kann neben dem Rucola auch super Feldsalat frisch gewaschen drauf legen. Ebenso eignen sich diverse getrocknete Kräuter wie Oregano, Basilikum, Petersilie oder Ähnliches.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Tipp</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Frische weiße Bohnen schmecken am besten dazu. Diese einen Tag vorher in Wasser einweichen und am anderen Tag im Schnellkochtopf mit etwas Wasser ca. 12 Minuten kochen. Dann sind sie schön weich und können weiter verarbeitet werden. Falls es schnell gehen soll, dann weiße Bohnen  aus der Dose. Jedoch sind diese etwas zu weich. Gegebenenfalls die Backzeit anpassen und weniger Flüssigkeit verwenden.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Ich nehme getrocknete weiße Bohnen und koche sie selber, da dann die Konsistenz der Bohnen besser ist für Baked Beans und Toast. Die getrockneten Bohnen einen Tag vorher in kaltes Wasser legen. Am anderen Tag, am besten im Schnellkochtopf, 10 Minuten kochen.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Fügt der Soße noch 50 g Tofu hinzu vor dem Mixen. Das ergibt einen besonders cremigen Geschmack.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Je nachdem wie viel Soße ihr möchtet, könnt ihr die Menge variieren. Natürlich kann man die Bohnen auch weglassen und nur eine Blumenkohlsoße zubereiten. Oder man gibt noch frische Kräuter hinzu. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Die Soße passt auch einfach über gegartes Gemüse oder Nudeln.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Für die Brotbrösel nimmt man am besten ältere Brotscheiben eines selbstgebackenen Dinkelvollkornbrots, die man im Mixer zerkleinert. Falls selbstgebackene Brötchen übrig sind, kann man diese ebenfalls zerkleinern. Die Brösel dann in einem Tiefkühlbeutel einfrieren. So hat man immer Brot- oder Brötchenbrösel zur Hand. Für Tofu Schnitzel sind sie ideal.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Tofu ist viel besser als man denkt. Er ist vielseitig zu verwenden, sättigt schnell, schmeckt gut und hat viel Protein.</p>
