Red lentil spread on hearty sourdough bread. Spicy tuned with various spices.

Zutaten
  

  • 150 g red lentils
  • 450 ml water for cooking the lentils
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • some turmeric powder
  • some curry powder
  • some cumin
  • some onion powder
  • Schnittlauch optional

Method
 

  1. Wash lentils and bring to a boil with the water in a pot, then simmer gently until tender.
  2. Pour off excess water.
  3. Mix mass with blender.
  4. Season to taste with the spices.
