Make applesauce yourself – fresh and sweet

Tip

If you like the applesauce a little sweeter, you can either cook dates or simply add 1 teaspoon of date flour. However, with date flour the color will be a little darker.

Add a squeeze of lemon juice to the cooking of the applesauce, then the apples remain brighter.

Mix other fruits with your applesauce to vary the flavor. You can mix different types of apples and add spices, such as cinnamon or vanilla.
