Lupine burger with lupine meal
Lupine burgers as an alternative to conventional burgers. With lupine meal a full-bodied and pithy taste.
Ingredients
- 200 g lupine meal
- 30 g oatmeal
- 1 tbsp dried parsley
- salt and pepper to taste
- 20 g lupine flour
- 1 onion
- 1 tsp mustard
- 0,5 tsp garam masala
- some herbs of Provence
- 20 g starch flour
- 500 ml water
Instructions
- Simmer lupine meal with 500 ml water for about 15 minutes. Then let steep covered for another 15 minutes.
- Then add all the remaining ingredients to the lupine meal and mix.
- Form burgers from the mixture.
- On a tray lined with baking paper, place the individual burgers.
- Cover with another sheet of baking paper.
- Bake in preheated oven at 180 degrees celsius top/bottom heat for about 20 – 25 minutes.
Tip
Serve the burgers on a burger bun and garnish with fresh vegetables such as lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and a hearty sauce.
