Kohlrabi and sweet potatoes

Kohlrabi and sweet potatoes refined with a creamy bean sauce. A tasty and nutritious meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 large kohlrabi
  • 1 onion
  • 300 g sweet potatoes
  • 250 ml water for kohlrabi
  • 250 ml water for sweet potatoes
  • 1 can of large white beans
  • 1 tbsp yeast flakes
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1-2 tsp starch flour for binding

Method
 

  1. Peel and cut the kohlrabi.
  2. Peel and chop 1 onion.
  3. Peel sweet potatoes and cut into cubes.
  4. Simmer kohlrabi and onions in a pot with 250 ml water for about 10 - 15 minutes.
  5. Simmer sweet potatoes in an extra pot with 250 ml water.
  6. Drain the beans and put half of them in a blender.
  7. Mix with a little water and the yeast flakes, soy sauce, salt and pepper.
  8. Add the other half of the beans to the kohlrabi and heat.
