Broccoli sauce

Creamy broccoli sauce is a delicious way to enjoy the fresh taste of broccoli and add a healthy and delicious touch to the meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 big broccoli
  • 250 ml water
  • a pinch each of salt, pepper and nutmeg
  • 1-2 tsp spelt flour type 630 for binding optional
  • a pinch each of chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder optional

Method
 

  1. Wash broccoli and divide into florets.
  2. Simmer in water for about 10 - 15 minutes until tender.
  3. Pour off some excess water into a container.
  4. Then puree with a blender.
  5. Broccoli water may need to be carefully added back. Attention should be paid to the consistency.
  6. Season to taste with the spices.
  7. For more sauce, mix the broccoli with all the water and bind with flour.
