Total Time 17 minutes mins
- 2-3 whole grain spelt rolls
- 1 can black beans
- 1-2 tbsp water
- 0,5 tsp paprika powder noble sweet
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of pepper
- 1 pinch of chili powder or cayenne pepper
- 1 pinch of curry powder
- 1 pinch of cumin
- 2 tbsp chives
Cut through whole grain spelt rolls.
Strain black beans from can and rinse with water.
Boil briefly with a little water
Blend with a hand blender.
Season to taste. Spread the buns with the bean spread.
Enjoy with chopped chives on top.
Of course, you can also use other beans, such as white beans, kidney beans or even chickpeas for a tasty bun spread.
The beans don't necessarily have to come from a can. You can also use fresh beans, which then need to be soaked in cold water 1 day before and cooked in a pressure cooker for about 12 - 15 minutes the other day.
Buns can be baked beforehand, frozen and then baked again. Or you can bake the same day the whole spelt rolls.
