This vegan chocolate torte is a feast for the palate and therefore a real highlight for all vegan living people. Whether you are an avid chocolate fan or simply want to be seduced by this delicacy – it promises a taste experience.

With this chocolate torte there are no bad days. Take two or three pieces for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Pack your backpack with it, let your friends try or bathe directly in it? Really a super recipe. I always have some cake, muffin or cake with chocolate frozen, so that I can defrost a few pieces depending on my mood.

This vegan chocolate torte is baked with whole ingredients without any oil. A real must for all chocolate lovers.
Ingredients
For the dough
- 400 g whole spelt flour
- 150 g oatmeal
- 100 g spelt flakes
- 100 g date flour
- 20 g cocoa powder
- 600 ml oat drink
Topping
- 270 ml oat drink
- 25 g date flour
- 10 g cocoa powder
- 10 g starch flour
- 25 ml oat drink extra for mixing
Instructions
- Put all the dry ingredients for the dough in a bowl.
- Add oat drink and stir to make a smooth batter.
- Line a round cake pan with baking paper.
- Pour the batter into the cake pan.
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
- In the meantime, cook a pudding for the topping.
- To do this, mix the cornstarch with about 25 ml of cold oat drink in a small container.
- Bring approx. 270 ml of oat drink to the boil in a saucepan together with the date flour and cocoa powder.
- Remove the hot liquid from the heat and whisk in the dissolved cornstarch quickly.
- Boil the mixture again until it becomes a thick pudding.
- Then let cool briefly and spread on the cake batter.
- Bake the cake at 180 degrees celsius top/bottom heat for 50 minutes. Then leave in the oven again for 10 minutes reheating.

Tipps
If you like it even more chocolatey, you can add cocoa nibs to the batter. Of course, you can also use another vegetable drink.
