Breakfast with porridge – very saturating

A successful start to the day begins with a wholesome breakfast. Full of vitamins and rich in minerals. It is important to cook unsweetened porridge and add healthy toppings to enjoy the full health benefits. Oatmeal is quick to cook and over time you start to develop a routine in it. Fresh fruit daily is important. However, if fresh fruit is not available, then of course you can use frozen fruit.

Oatmeal is a healthy and nutritious meal that can provide many benefits. Not only is it tasty, but it can also help provide a lasting feeling of fullness, preventing overeating between meals. The fiber in oats can promote gut health and aid in digestion. Freshly ground flax seeds are added as a topping to my porridge with fruit.

Breakfast with porridge and fruit

My healthy breakfast consists of oatmeal and various types of fruit. Carob is stirred in for extra flavor. And on top of that, ground flax seeds.

Ingredients
  

  • 80 g oatmeal
  • 1 tbsp carob
  • 1 tbsp flaxseed whole grain
  • water as needed
  • various fruits according to taste

Instructions
 

  • Put oatmeal in a saucepan.
  • Add enough water to cover the oatmeal.
  • Cook oatmeal until it becomes a creamy mass.
  • Add the carob and continue to cook briefly. Stir briskly all the time.
  • Put oatmeal in a plate.
  • Sprinkle ground flax seeds on top.
  • Add fruit to taste.

Tip

Grind flax seeds in the coffee grinder. Daily freshly ground flax seeds still contain all the nutrients and contribute to a healthy breakfast.
