Bean spread with bun
A perfect dinner that is quick yet nutritious. The buns are simply spread with a super tasty spread. Add fresh chives on top. It can’t get any faster than that. The rolls can be baked yourself or simply bought. However, I would pay attention to the ingredients here.
Bean spread with bun
Ingredients
- 2-3 whole grain spelt rolls
- 1 can black beans
- 1-2 tbsp water
- 0,5 tsp paprika powder noble sweet
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of pepper
- 1 pinch of chili powder or cayenne pepper
- 1 pinch of curry powder
- 1 pinch of cumin
- 2 tbsp chives
Instructions
- Cut through whole grain spelt rolls.
- Strain black beans from can and rinse with water.
- Boil briefly with a little water
- Blend with a hand blender.
- Season to taste. Spread the buns with the bean spread.
- Enjoy with chopped chives on top.

Tips
Do not use too much water for pureeing, otherwise the spread will be too liquid.
