Potato wedges are incredibly good. They always taste good, go well with every dish or on their own. Potatoes are incredibly healthy and are part of every wholesome meal. My wedges are baked oil-free in the oven. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. This is how wedges are supposed to be.
Potato wedges
The potato slices are baked quickly. The peel gives the potatoes additional nutrients because there are minerals in the peel. A special and popular type of potato dish due to its unique shape, texture, seasoning and versatility. They work well as a snack, side dish, or even as a meal on their own.
Potato wedges
Ingredients
- 600 g potatoes
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 0,5 tsp curry powder
- herbs of choice optional
- some onion powder
- some garlic powder optional
Instructions
- Wash the potatoes and cut into wedges with the skin.
- Mix in a bowl with paprika powder and curry powder.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees hot air.
- Either place the potato wedges on a baking tray with baking paper or place an oven rack on the baking tray and spread the potatoes on it. The air circulation with hot air makes them especially crispy.
Tip
A particularly hearty note results with herbs of Provence. Spread these on the potato wedges before baking.
Also try my seasoned fries, which taste just as delicious.
Interesting to know
It is always a pleasure to eat potatoes with their skins on. However, care should be taken to use young and waxy potatoes.
