Potato chips – the classic oil-free

Ingredients
  

  • 500 g waxy potatoes
  • 1 tsp paprika powder noble sweet

Method
 

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut into thin slices.
  2. Season with paprika powder.
  3. Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius hot air.
  4. Place the individual chips on a baking sheet with baking paper. They should not overlap each other.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes at 180 degrees celsius hot air.

Tip

Potato chips turn out best when you cut them into thin and even slices. If you have a vegetable slicer, you can use it. Choose firm-boiled or predominantly firm-boiled potato varieties, as these hold their shape better during baking.

Potatoes should be stored in a cool, dark place to prevent sprouting.
