Method
 

  1. Peel and chop the onions.
  2. Heat a stainless steel pot until hot.
  3. Add the onions, spread briefly and leave on the bottom for about 1 – 2 minutes.
  4. Stir with a wooden spoon and add 100 ml of water.
  5. The onions should be lightly covered with water.
  6. Simmer until the water has evaporated.
  7. Then stir everything again and fill up again with a little water.

Tip

Serve the onions as a topping to dishes. As onion sauce bind with flour and season with salt and pepper. Here then add more water.
